CHALLENGE
Capture Studios was brought on to oversee and unify the full scope of event execution for the Mayweather Jr. vs. John Gotti III fight weekend, an assignment that required precision across multiple days, venues, stakeholders, and live broadcast moments. The challenge was not only to manage the operational and logistical complexity of a major boxing event, but also to elevate the overall fan and brand experience across every touchpoint, from pre-fight programming through fight night.
With responsibilities spanning press conferences, open workouts, official weigh-ins, and the live event itself, the weekend demanded seamless coordination between talent, production, fighters, brand partners, and venue teams. On fight night, Capture’s role expanded even further to include management of performing musical artists, DJs, Ring Girls, brand partnerships, and the full lineup of 12 fighters competing across 6 bouts.
APPROACH
Capture Studios led the event with a fully integrated approach, combining operations, logistics, creative design, and management under one centralized execution team. This allowed for consistency across the entire fight weekend while ensuring each event component was produced at a high level and aligned with the broader vision of the promotion.
From pre-event planning through live execution, Capture managed the moving pieces required to bring the weekend to life including coordinating talent, overseeing show flow, supporting partner integrations, and ensuring each audience-facing moment felt polished, premium, and impactful. By bridging backend execution with front-facing creative and production management, Capture helped turn a high-profile boxing match into a fully realized live entertainment property.
RESULTS
The event delivered at every level. Fight night culminated in a sold-out arena at FLA Live, while the broadcast drew over 3,000,000 concurrent live viewers. Globally, the event generated more than 3.5 billion impressions, underscoring the scale of its reach and cultural impact.
